Welcome
Vague Theatre Company are an amateur touring theatre company based in Kendal, Cumbria. We currently tour at least one production a year to the surrounding towns and villages in South Lakeland. Established in February 2005, we have toured five productions in venues as varied as Brampton, Burneside, Broughton and Newbiggin.
Vague Theatre Company aim to bring modern, contemporary theatre to rural communities. We feel there is a lack of more modern drama being produced in the area and wish to give audiences the opportunity to experience this genre of theatre. We value feedback from our audiences and wish to develop the group on the advice and information provided by our patrons.
Vague Theatre Company value the sponsorship of local businesses and aim to work in partnership with the local community to provide high quality amateur productions for all ages to enjoy.
A final long-term aim of the group is to make productions available to local schools and educational establishments to provide an avenue for youths to explore simple theatre in their community.
