Well that's it... the end!
After 3 shows the curtain fell on Vague Theatre Company's version of Teechers. And what a run it was. Three different venues and three great audiences. It was great to hear all the feedback at the end of each night and I hope that many of the audience keep in touch and come to our next production.
I would like to take this oppertunity to thank everyone involved in Teechers as I was a great show to both direct and be in along with my buddies Hobby and Gail. I was sad that it finished so soon but it means that on the horizon there must be a fresh challenge.
We met a lot of new people through Teechers and welcome each and every one of them to our Members Night on May 20th at The Bryce Institute, Burneside. More details on the Members Evening page.
Vague Theatre needs you!!!
Greg :o)
OK so with nine and half hours until we open I thought that I would drop a note on Dress last night.HOW EXCITING! I had a great time. Although I will put my hand up and admit to two fluffed lines! I contest the one with Rose! And Ben made a boob too at least once so... lines are getting the better of us! HAHA Not to worry I'm sure we will be perfect tonight!.Act 1Steve started us off with a lovely light show that loosely resembled the lighting plot but soon we were on track to set the scene of our little show. Some guess work was used in scene changes and Ben loves her broom and dirty mag so much she never seems to put them down...Act 2Woot woot! My favorite! Fast-paced and frantic... oh my red light...yum! Not a lot more I can say about the second act... it was brillOverall, a rather good Dress but not my voice is going so I'm of to he chemist for some advice... I reckon a gin and tonic or 2 may help!See you tonight ;o)Greg
Well well well... That be how you do a Tech!Just got in after a long night at Burneside completing the Tech for Teechers. I reckon that it was one of the smoothest Tech's I have ever been involved in, which meant we even finished early!Looking forward to the Dress tomorrow now which should be great fun and then the opening night on Saturday. Hoping to fill the place as I would be a shame if the public missed our little show...More after the Dress... break legs etc...Greg
