Vague Theatre Company

Modern theatre in the South Lakes

Greg Robertson - Chairperson (2005 - present)

Greg has recently completed his first solo directing début with Vague Theatre Company with his interpretation of John Godbers cult play, Teechers.  Greg also played the role of Salty in the performance and enjoyed it immensely.

Greg first got the performing bug while studying at Glenwood High School in Fife. He was involved in the first amateur film production to highlight local crime issues and was awarded the local Crime Prevention Measures Cup for his performance in the finished film.  Greg went on to perform in A Talk In The Park, Blood Brothers and Teechers before moving to The University of Stirling to study Biology and Psychology in 1998.  While at university, Greg supplemented his student wage by recording radio drama sketches which were sold to BBC radio 4.

On graduating in 2002, Greg moved to Lancaster to train as a secondary school teacher before moving to The Lake District.  Greg involved himself in Grange Drama before co-founding Vague Theatre Company early in 2005.
